Our Story

My journey in landscaping and grounds maintenance began over 20 years ago, when I started my career as a golf course greenkeeper at just 17 years old. From the very beginning, I developed a passion for creating and maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest possible standards. Golf courses demand precision, attention to detail and a relentless commitment to quality. Every blade of grass matters. Every finish matters. Those principles have stayed with me throughout my career and continue to shape the way I work today.​

 

As my experience grew, so did my ambition. At the age of 29, I took the opportunity to travel to Australia, where I worked for Sydney University maintaining and developing high-quality sports pitches and grounds. Working in a completely different climate and environment taught me valuable skills and gave me a broader understanding of turf management, landscaping and outdoor maintenance on a large scale.​

 

Following my time in Australia, my career took me to Austria, where I worked on golf courses in some of Europe’s most beautiful landscapes. It was another opportunity to learn, develop and refine my skills while working to exceptionally high standards in a demanding environment.

 

​After returning to the UK, I moved into the construction and development side of the industry, helping to build and improve golf courses and sports facilities. This experience gave me a unique understanding not only of how great outdoor spaces are maintained, but how they are designed, constructed and developed from the ground up.

 

​Today, after more than two decades in the industry, I’ve decided to bring all of that experience together and build something of my own.​

 

My goal is simple: to provide local homeowners with the same level of care, professionalism and attention to detail that I’ve delivered throughout my career on golf courses, sports pitches and large-scale projects.

 

​I understand that your garden isn’t just an outdoor space. It’s where you relax after a long day, spend time with family, entertain friends and take pride in your home. That’s why every job, whether it’s a simple lawn cut, hedge trimming, a garden clearance or regular maintenance, is approached with the same commitment to quality and care.​

 

I believe that success comes from hard work, honesty and doing what you say you’re going to do. When I arrange a visit, I turn up. When I provide a quote, it’s fair. When I complete a job, I do it properly.

 

​Building this business is the next chapter in a journey that started more than 20 years ago with a passion for working outdoors and creating beautiful, well-maintained spaces. I’m proud of where that journey has taken me, and even more excited about helping local customers create gardens they can enjoy and be proud of for years to come.
